At Lambert Girl Up we’re raising funds and promoting initiatives to serve the girls who need them most. We believe in taking action with urgency in order to raise public awareness about some of the most pressing issues facing today’s society. LAMBERT GIRL UP AT A GLANCE
Girl Up is an Internationally Recognized Organization and a campaign of the United Nations Foundation. Girl Up engages and empower girls to take action, with a community with over half a million advocates raising awareness and funds our efforts help the hardest to reach girls living in places where its hardest to be a girl.  Lambert Girl Up offers a great opportunity to come together to learn about the world issues, take action and build leadership skills- all while working on one of the most important issues facing our generation. Throughout the year we will be having fundraisers, movie screenings, picnics, participating in runs and hosting events at Lambert High School to spread awareness.

To me Girl Up means empowerment and equality. Once I heard about Girl Up, I immediately fell in love with the organization inspiring me to start Lambert Girl Up. I started Lambert Girl Up during the 2017-2018 school year. I can't wait for next year being a leader for the ATL coalition of Girl Up and being the Lambert Girl Up President.

I joined Girl Up freshman year and I have loved being an officer and member in it ever since. I attended the state leadership conference and developed a deeper love and feeling of commitment in Girl Up. It has been an overall great experience and I hope to continue to be an excellent officer and a huge part of this club!
